Material
”Really Board”: Pink textile fibre board from Kvadrat and Malmö Upcycling Service. Sourced from textile industry offcuts, and industrial laundry. Milled and pressed with a textile binder.
Old worn out bedlinen from hotels make up the white core.
It's Versailles all over!
Loosely inspired by asymmetric rococo curves — historically incorrect, but just as decadent.
Expressive shapes to lure the self-proclaimed royals, and upcycled materials to soothe consumers in crisis.
The clash between waste material and richness/ luxury is interesting to me.
In the exhibition "Auto Exotic" at Venice Design Biennial 2023.

Really Rococo I was made for the exhibition “Last Minute” curated by Malmö Upcycling Service at The Swedish Embassy in Denmark, During 3 Days of Design 2021.
It was also chosen for Adorno’s exhibition “Proximity” in 2022, showcased at Lokstallarna, Malmö.
