Fiber Land is an ongoing project I’m part of through Jenny Nordberg Design Studio. It’s a venture run by the County Administrative Board in Skåne together with STPLN Malmö and Jenny Nordberg.

The aim is to make the three local natural fibers hemp, flax and wool into commercial alternatives to more resource-demanding fibers such as cotton and synthetic materials.

This is done by creating new business connections between Swedish primary producers of the three fibers and different types of end customers within fashion and furniture industry. We see this project as the start of something bigger, a movement!
